I'm a Technical Lead at a financial institution in Chile, where I built and lead the first GCP-native team in the organization — and the first in the bank's LATAM operations to work with Confluent Kafka. I'm the internal reference across the bank for Kafka, Python, Java and GCP, focused on event-driven architecture and data platforms. Outside work I create software architecture content in Spanish as @nect.sh and build Fluyo, an open-source animated diagramming tool.

Most of my community work is about making event-driven architecture accessible in Spanish, where intermediate and advanced material is scarce. I publish Kafka, Flink and stream-processing content as @nect.sh on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram — including an F1 telemetry simulator built on Kafka and Flink to teach streaming concepts, and a Kubernetes demo on Kafka consumer failover with Grafana observability. I also maintain Fluyo, an open-source diagramming tool. Internally, I introduced Kafka at my organization and mentor the teams adopting it.
