Raúl is a senior software developer and IT strategist. Founder and solo-preneur at Treu Technologies, with extensive experience across backend, frontend, mobile, and DevOps. Author of multiple books on large-scale data processing and distributed systems. Passionate about high-performance computing, Rust, and functional programming, with a strong focus on GPU acceleration and compiler engineering.

Raúl has supported the Apache Kafka community since late 2015. He has written several books on Apache Kafka. He has contributed by organizing several Apache Kafka Meetups in Mexico City. He has contributed several PRs for KSQLdb. He participated in a video related with being Community Catalyst. He has been previously Confluent Community Catalyst Generation 2020 to 2025.
