Yaroslav is a software engineer & architect specializing in data-intensive applications, data streaming, stream processing, and distributed systems.

Recently, Yaroslav launched Irontools: a suite of Apache Flink extensions that improve efficiency and unlock new use cases. He's also been consulting and advising companies on data streaming technologies.

Before that, he was a tech lead at Goldsky, Shopify and Activision. He worked on streaming data platforms of all shapes and sizes.

Yaroslav has presented at numerous conferences over the years, including Current, Kafka Summit, Flink Forward, Data Council, QCon, and Berlin Buzzwords, among others.

He has also been writing the Data Streaming Journey newsletter, a popular newsletter covering various topics related to stream-processing and data streaming systems.
