I’m a seasoned Technology Architect with close to 20 years of experience in the IT industry with strong skills in Technical Architecture, Design & Development of Enterprise Software Applications. My experience is predominantly in the FSI space covering Retail Banking, Wealth Management, KYC Onboarding, Regulatory Reporting, Equipment Leasing as well as in Fintech areas like peer-to-peer lending and payment wallets. I have strong experience in digital transformation, legacy modernisation, data engineering and other greenfield projects. I have strong technical skills in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka (Kafka Streams, Ksqldb), Flink, Spark, API Management, DevOps. I’m very active in the Singapore Tech community space more so with the Apache Kafka Community and have co-hosted meetups and delivered Tech talks. I’m very passionate about real time data streaming and event driven architecture.

I'm very active in the Kafka Community in Singapore and hardly miss any of the monthly Kafka meetups. I have co-hosted Kafka meetups and as well as delivered talks in local Kafka meetups. I also conduct Kafka hands-on trainings in my company for developers new to Kafka. I have architected and designed multiple projects using Kafka and Stream processing including a realtime data pipeline using CDC, Kafka Streams and Ksqldb to support the incremental migration and modernisation of complex legacy mainframe applications to a micro services architecture.
