Zabeer is a Technology Architect with 20 years’ experience in enterprise software, specializing in financial services and fintech. He leads digital transformation, legacy modernization, and real-time data streaming projects using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Flink, Spark, and Iceberg. Active in the Singapore tech community, he co-hosts Kafka meetups and shares insights on event-driven architectures and data systems.

Zabeer is deeply involved in the Kafka community in Singapore, regularly attending and contributing to meetups. He has co-hosted meetups, delivered talks (including on Streaming Lakehouse), and shares insights on LinkedIn. Within his organization, he trains developers on Kafka, and has architected real-time streaming solutions with CDC, Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, and Apache Iceberg, bridging operational and analytical workloads.
