Bobby is Senior Principal Architect and Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase, designing next-gen core banking platforms. Founder of Evident Systems, he helps companies solve complex problems with event-driven systems and developed Confluent’s Practical Event Modeling course. Previously a Distinguished Engineer at Capital One and on Cognitect’s Product Team, he enjoys building software in Clojure, Rust, and Kotlin.

Bobby is a regular meetup and conference speaker, as well as a blog and podcast contributor. Bobby developed the course Practical Event Modeling in partnership with Confluent.
